Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Star Connect Hub ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using Star Connect Hub (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use Star Connect Hub.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• You must not be barred from using the Platform under any applicable law.
• Creator accounts additionally require that you are a legal resident of your country and have the right to earn income as a self-employed individual or business entity.

3. Accounts

Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date.

Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at starconnecthub@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

One account per person

Each individual or entity may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions, bans, or verification requirements is strictly prohibited.

4. Fan / Buyer Terms

As a fan or buyer on the Platform, you agree to:

• Use creator sessions and content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes unless expressly permitted in writing by the creator.
• Treat creators and their teams with respect in all communications.
• Not record, redistribute, resell, or publicly share personalised sessions without the creator's express written consent.
• Provide accurate booking information so creators can fulfil your request.
• Not make fraudulent payment claims or chargebacks in bad faith.
• Not attempt to contact creators through off-platform channels found via the Platform for the purpose of bypassing our fee structure.

5. Creator Terms

Creators are verified individuals who offer personalised experiences to fans through the Platform. To become a Creator, you must:

• Complete the Creator Application and provide truthful information about your identity, profession, and social reach.
• Pay the Creator Verification fee of $1,200 USD equivalent in Bitcoin to activate your Creator account.
• Maintain the verified identity you submitted during onboarding; impersonation of others is strictly prohibited.

Creator obligations

• Fulfil booking requests within the agreed timeframe (typically 7 days unless otherwise specified).
• Deliver content that meets the fan's request to a reasonable standard.
• Maintain a response rate above 80% on fan messages.
• Not offer services that violate our Community Guidelines or applicable law.
• Provide a valid Bitcoin wallet address for payouts.
• Keep your profile, pricing, and availability up to date.

Creator earnings

Creators receive 80% of each booking after the Platform fee of 20% is applied. Earnings are released to your Bitcoin wallet within 7 business days after successful session delivery and confirmation.

6. Payments

Bitcoin-only

All payments on Star Connect Hub are processed exclusively in Bitcoin (BTC). By making a payment, you acknowledge that:

• Bitcoin is a volatile asset and the USD value of your payment may fluctuate.
• Bitcoin transactions are irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain.
• You are responsible for sending the correct amount to the correct wallet address.
• Platform fees are calculated at the time of booking in USD, converted to BTC at the prevailing rate.

Platform fee

Fan bookings are subject to a platform fee that is displayed transparently at checkout before payment. This fee covers payment processing, escrow management, and platform operations.

Tax responsibility

Creators are solely responsible for declaring and paying any income taxes, self-employment taxes, or other applicable levies on their earnings. Star Connect Hub does not provide tax advice.

7. Escrow, Refunds & Disputes

Escrow

Fan payments are held in a Platform escrow wallet until the booked session is delivered and 48 hours have passed without a dispute being raised. Funds are then automatically released to the creator.

Refunds — Fans

• Full refund: If a creator fails to deliver within the agreed timeframe, or if the delivered content substantially fails to match the booking request.
• Partial refund: At the Platform's discretion if the content partially meets the request.
• No refund: If you simply change your mind after the creator has delivered the session.

Refunds — Creators (Verification Fee)

• The $1,200 Creator Verification fee is refundable only if your application is rejected by our verification team after review.
• Once your creator dashboard is activated, the fee is non-refundable.
• Refunds, where applicable, are processed in Bitcoin to the wallet address used for payment within 14 business days.

Dispute resolution

To raise a dispute, contact us at starconnecthub@gmail.com within 48 hours of session delivery. We will review the dispute and issue a final decision within 5 business days. Our decision is final and binding.

8. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited on Star Connect Hub:

• Impersonating any person, celebrity, entity, or Star Connect Hub staff
• Uploading or sharing content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or sexually explicit without legal basis
• Creating accounts or using the Platform if you are under 18
• Attempting to circumvent the Platform's fee structure by soliciting off-platform transactions
• Engaging in fraudulent payments, chargebacks, or money laundering
• Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Platform
• Sharing another user's personal information without consent
• Violating any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Attempting to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Platform or other users' accounts
• Using the Platform to facilitate or promote illegal activities

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, forfeiture of pending earnings, and/or referral to law enforcement.

9. Intellectual Property

Platform IP

The Star Connect Hub brand, logo, design, software, and all content created by us are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Creator content

Creators retain ownership of the personalised content they create. By delivering content through the Platform, creators grant the receiving fan a limited, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to use and enjoy that content privately.

Your content

By submitting content to the Platform (such as profile information, messages, or booking requests), you grant Star Connect Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content solely to operate and improve the Platform.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of any creator or content listed on the Platform.

Star Connect Hub is a marketplace facilitating connections — we are not a party to the engagement between fans and creators and are not responsible for the conduct of any user.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Star Connect Hub shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
• The conduct of creators or fans on or off the Platform
• Losses arising from Bitcoin price volatility or irreversible transactions
• Service interruptions, security breaches, or unauthorised access to your account

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the total amount you have paid to Star Connect Hub in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at starconnecthub@gmail.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
• Any pending Creator earnings may be forfeited if the termination is due to a violation.
• Sections relating to IP, Disclaimers, Liability, and Governing Law survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration before proceeding to litigation.
